Fae Green Named Offensive Red River Athletic Conference Player of the Week
Texas College senior forward Fae Green, a Business major from Monroe, Louisiana, has been named the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Player of the Week following her performances in two games during the past week.
Green averaged 25.0 points per game while leading the Steers to a pair of victories. In a 76–74 win over Texas A&M–San Antonio, she recorded 18 points on 5-of-15 shooting from the field and 8-of-9 from the free-throw line, while adding six rebounds.
She followed with a season-high 32-point performance in a 72–52 win over Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas). In that contest, Green shot 13-of-17 from the field, converted all six free-throw attempts, and contributed six rebounds, two assists, and one steal.
Through 11 games this season, Green leads Texas College with 131 total points and 63 rebounds. She currently ranks seventh in the RRAC in scoring, fifth in free throws made (37-of-47), and eighth in rebounding.
